Payment Recovery Guidelines

Current version effective: January 2025

Financial decisions around learning deserve clarity. We've structured our payment recovery approach around fairness while acknowledging that circumstances shift and plans sometimes need adjustment. What follows explains how money flows back when paths change.

When Money Returns

Program withdrawal within fourteen calendar days of enrollment—provided you haven't accessed course materials or attended sessions—qualifies for full payment recovery. This window exists because early decisions sometimes don't align with reality once you've had time to reconsider.

Beyond that initial period, the situation becomes more nuanced. If taverionex cancels scheduled programming or fails to deliver what was outlined in your enrollment agreement, complete payment reversal occurs regardless of timing. We own our obligations.

Technical failures on our end that prevent you from accessing purchased content for seven consecutive days trigger proportional recovery based on the affected portion of your program. You're not paying for services we can't deliver.

Early Stage Withdrawal

The first two weeks offer maximum flexibility. Full recovery happens within five to seven business days after we process your request, returning funds through your original payment method.

Mid-Program Adjustments

Once you've engaged with materials or attended sessions, recovery calculations shift to account for resources consumed. Unused portions may qualify depending on circumstances and administrative review.

Situations Outside Recovery

Certain scenarios fall outside our payment reversal framework. Completion of a program eliminates eligibility—finished courses represent delivered value. Similarly, accessing significant portions of content or attending multiple sessions indicates substantial benefit received.

Promotional pricing or special discount arrangements sometimes carry specific terms that restrict standard recovery options. These get outlined clearly before purchase, never as surprises later.

Violation of our community standards or academic integrity expectations forfeits recovery rights. When someone's actions require removal, the financial consequence remains.

The Medical Exception

Serious health situations that prevent program participation receive individualized consideration. Documentation from healthcare providers helps us understand the situation, though we approach these circumstances with empathy rather than rigid verification demands.

Recovery amount calculations in medical cases examine how much programming you accessed before circumstances changed. We're looking for fair outcomes, not technical loopholes to deny reasonable requests.

Making Your Request

Recovery requests start with written notice to our enrollments team. Email works best because it creates clear records for both sides. Include your enrollment details and explain what changed—we need context to evaluate properly.

Initial Contact

Reach our team at info@taverionex.com with your full name, enrollment date, and program details. Clear subject lines help—something like "Payment Recovery Request: Budgeting Fundamentals" gets attention faster than vague headers.

Review Period

We assess requests within three business days typically. Complex situations might need additional time, but you'll hear from us about timeline expectations rather than wondering what's happening.

Resolution

Approved recoveries process within seven to ten business days. Bank processing times vary beyond our control, so your financial institution's policies affect when funds actually appear in your account.

Partial Recovery Calculations

When full reversal doesn't apply but some recovery seems fair, we calculate based on remaining unused program segments. A twelve-week course where you completed four weeks might qualify for two-thirds recovery, minus administrative processing costs.

These calculations aren't automatic formulas. We consider individual circumstances, especially when life events beyond your control interrupted participation. The goal is reasonable outcomes, not maximizing revenue retention through technicalities.

  • Original payment method receives returned funds in nearly all cases
  • Processing fees from payment providers aren't recoverable—those go to third parties
  • Subscription-based programs handle recovery differently than single-purchase courses
  • Gift enrollments follow the same policies but coordinate with original purchasers
  • Corporate or group enrollments may have custom agreements that supersede standard terms

Appeals and Escalation

If our initial decision doesn't feel right, you can request review by senior operations staff. New information or circumstances we didn't initially consider sometimes changes outcomes. We'd rather get things right than rigidly defend questionable decisions.

This isn't about gaming the system—it's acknowledging that first reviews sometimes miss important context. A second look with fresh perspective occasionally reveals better resolutions.

Program Transfers as Alternative

Sometimes postponement works better than payment recovery. We allow one program transfer to future dates within twelve months, which preserves your investment while accommodating changed circumstances. Many people find this option fits better than requesting money back and potentially re-enrolling later at different pricing.

Questions About Your Situation

Every enrollment carries unique details. Rather than trying to interpret how these guidelines apply to your specific circumstances, talking directly with our team provides clarity faster.
